I swear that if I hear one more remark about the weather
Exasperation might block out that sun forever
I'm losing it, used to sit right behind my eyes
These days I smile a dead man's smile
This routine is the killing kind
Every day I grow eight hours less alive
And what's the use in money for a life of loveless work?
I'd be a happy girl upon my own, upon the dirt
Sometimes I find myself losing heart
Just think of those around me, never had it from the start
I speak with the sky, it says remember you're alive
You're alive
Swear I'm surrounded by vampires
My heart beats louder than most
And they don't laugh or live like us
I swear I'm surrounded by ghosts
Sometimes I find myself losing heart
Just think of those around me, never had it from the start
I speak with the sky, it says remember you're alive
You're alive

This is so beautiful in so many ways. The voice, the lyrics, the music. I read somewhere that this is considered neo-folk, Nope! It is called good, really good music. Well done Ms Sandell! Ioannis Ntanos

This is such a wonderful album. Superb songs and singing. The track Dwelling by the Weir brings to mind Joni Mitchell, it is that good. Favourite track is Waking up to Stone. Fabulous! dorsetmorriarty
The second EP from Northern Irish singer-songwriter Bea Stewart runs from gentle folk to pillowy pop ballads, all perfectly executed. Bandcamp New & Notable Apr 15, 2024
